At the beginning of the 117th House session, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rules Committee Chairman James P. McGovern announced new rules for the 117th Congress, which included changes [to] pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral or removes references to gender.” Terms such as “father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister could no longer be used and must be replaced with gender neutral terms that would not be offensive, such as parent, child and sibling. We are witnessing a dangerous word revolution that threatens to unravel our culture.
