The advances in bioengineering, biotechnology, and biomedicine have allowed us to cure many diseases but also enhance and even alter human nature. The Transhumanist school believes that technology will not only enhance the human condition but even grant us immortality. The current movement of transhumanism, asserts that humanity will achieve a new form of humanity through its adaption of Artificial intelligence and genetic engineering.
