Prophecy was central to Jesus’ mission, as He repeatedly pointed to the Old Testament to show that He was its fulfillment. On today’s broadcast, we’ll explore how Jesus used prophecy as an apologetic tool, from declaring His resurrection in advance to affirming that the Scriptures “testify of Me.” We’ll also examine how the New Testament writers faithfully applied prophecy, not by cherry-picking, but by demonstrating how Christ fulfilled the deepest messianic themes of the Old Testament.
